Wild Edibles is an Android and iOS application aimed at educating folks about wild edible plants. For this project I used my full stack design and cartography experience to craft a UX and UI that is fun, intuitive, and easy to use in the field. My contributions to this full re-design include but are not limited to interface, graphic, identity, web, and promotional design.
My re-design for the main list of plants, menu, and detailed view of a specific plant. Swiping left on this detail view reveals a slider of images of that plant's different parts and in various seasons.
The loading and icon, respectively, I hand cut from paper and photographed to lend a realistic depth and tactile feel to a primarily digital experience.
